Don't let Cardale Jones catch you having deep thoughts on Instagram

Always stay frosty.

Cardale Jones and J.T. Barrett quarterbacked Ohio State to college football’s 2014 national championship, with Barrett guiding the Buckeyes through the regular season and Jones winning the Playoff after an injury sidelined Barrett. The two were longtime college teammates before Jones went to the NFL last year, and they keep in touch:

On Tuesday, Barrett posted a pensive picture on Instagram, geotagged in Quito, Ecuador. Barrett looks like he’s engaged in some fairly deep thought here — really collecting himself and enjoying all the beauty that South American nature has to offer.

Then Jones came in hot to the comments:

I’ll slap the shit out the back of your head.

Recently in Jones’ life, he threw a football 66 yards while wearing Timberland boots and returned to Ohio State to graduate, more than a year after turning pro and several years after tweeting ‘we ain’t come to play school.’ He’s with the Buffalo Bills.

Barrett will play his senior season for Ohio State this year, and he’ll be a Heisman candidate for a Big Ten and College Football Playoff contender. He posted during an Ecuador trip for Soles4Souls, an anti-poverty nonprofit.
