College quarterbacks, like all college students, enjoy filming creative stunts for likes. Since the little time they have off mostly happens to be during the summer, we end up seeing a lot of QBs making trick shot videos at summer locations like the beach or the lake.
The Migos quarterback to tight end on a Jet Ski throw
This summer, Georgia QB Jacob Eason showed off his aquatic skills by hitting his tight end, Isaac Nauta, who was riding a Jet Ski, from the back of a boat. Oh, and Migos was playing in the background, which makes this infinitely better.
Sam Darnold’s true Heisman moment
Eason’s came less than a week after the current Heisman Trophy favorite and USC Trojans quarterback made this throw to a wakeboarder from the back of a boat:
The Jet Ski deep floater throw
Last year was the summer of Big 12 quarterback trick shots. Texas quarterback Shane Buechele and Oklahoma State’s Mason Rudolph showed off some quality lake throws.
Buechele was only an incoming freshman, but that doesn’t make his throw any less impressive.

The yeah sure, I’ll throw that off a diving board throw
Rudolph’s was especially creative, featuring a diving board. Yes, a diving board, folks.

The ‘Merica double Jet Ski throw
Rudolph came back this summer with an intricate performance, including an airborne throw made after one of the other guys vaulted another off of an inflatable raft. This one had some extra patriotism mixed in, which is always a plus.

The almost-perfect, epic waterslide throw
Texas A&M quarterback Nick Starkel, who sat behind Trevor Knight last season as a true freshman, just barely missed this pass to former Aggie wide receiver Ricky Seals-Jones, who is now with the Arizona Cardinals.

Yes, he legit hit that target while hovering over water
Last spring, Florida quarterback Jake Allen, who was just a UF commit at the time, made several throws into a target while riding a hydro-powered board over water.

The big ‘ole fountain trick throw
Last summer, former Pittsburgh Panthers quarterback and now Buffalo Bill Nathan Peterman showed off a variety of fun throws, including this one over a huge fountain and into a bucket.
Let’s see that one from another angle, shall we?
Peterman’s fountain throw was capped off by a well-deserved celebratory cannonball.
The water bottle post-touchdown stunt
After scoring a touchdown against South Carolina, a fan threw a water bottle at Missouri quarterback Drew Lock. Instead of ignoring it, Lock decided to drink it.
