No. 11 Michigan will wear all-yellow (“maize,” in Michigan lingo) alternate uniforms on Saturday, Sept. 2 vs. No. 17 Florida at Jerry World, Nike’s announced after rumors.

Florida will also wear one-color uniforms, like an NFL Color Rush game, but the Gators wearing blue is a little less newsworthy.

The game contract allows Michigan, the designated road team, to wear “light” colors, rather than necessarily white.

Michigan has one of the best and most-beloved regular uniforms in college football, but its alternate uniforms haven’t always fared well.
