Florida Gators tight end DeAndre Goolsby got some unexpected news in a surprising way on Wednesday. Expecting to play on Saturday in the home opener against the Northern Colorado Bears, Goolsby checked Twitter:

Gooslby, a senior, was listed second among tight ends on Florida’s unofficial depth chart revealed on Tuesday morning. He caught 38 passes for 342 yards in 11 games in 2016 as a junior, with three touchdown catches.
