Georgia mustache man, the true star of the National Championship, is headed to Oregon

Strength coach Aaron Feld has the facial hair of a 19th-century sporting gentleman.

Did you notice the guy with the badass mustache on Georgia’s sideline during the National Championship against Alabama? So did we.

Look at this guy on the far left:

Let’s take a closer look:

That’s Aaron Feld, Assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning for the University of Georgia (and might also secretly be a member of the Peaky Blinders but, can’t confirm). On Thursday though, he got himself a new gig, as Oregon’s new head strength coach.

After the hire was made official, Field tweeted the most glorious picture ever to make his own personal announcement of the job:

A little bit about Feld, from the Georgia’s athletics website:

Aaron Feld joined the University of Georgia’s football program in January 2015 and is the Assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning. He works alongside Director of Strength and Conditioning Scott Sinclair planning and executing the workout program.

Prior to his arrival at Georgia, Feld served as the Director of Strength and Conditioning for all 13 sports at the University of North Alabama.

Before his time at UNA, Feld worked as a strength and conditioning volunteer at the University of Alabama in 2014. Prior to his Alabama tenure, Feld worked at the University of Alabama-Birmingham for two seasons.

Feld played football for Mississippi State and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. While working at UAB, he received his master’s in clinical and exercise science from Mississippi State. Feld is CSCS certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association and holds a SCCC certification from the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association.

Here he is in all his glory prior to the game. Mustache, hashtags, and all:
