We’ve reached the point of the year at which college football has rankings that really matter, and those don’t come out every week until Tuesday night.

Until that time, the sport’s other human rankings are a decent indicator of roughly how things will fall on Tuesday. Week 10 had a handful of huge games, and the results (especially two in the SEC) have clarified the top of the postseason picture a good pit. Alabama and Georgia will meet in the SEC Championship Game. Michigan and Ohio State will play what should amount to a Big Ten title game a week before the actual one. And almost every other division race is a total mess.

Below, we’re collecting major top 25s as they emerge after Week 10.

These are not SB Nation’s personal rankings. We’re merely collecting a bunch of them in one place. Some of these are legacy polls that primarily measure what teams have done so far, while others are designed to be predictive. They’re all explained below the table.

The College Football Playoff committee rankings

The key thing, but not out until Tuesday nights around 7:10 p.m. ET. They’ll be in a separate post.

The Associated Press Top 25

The historical gold standard of human polls. Releases Sundays at 2 p.m. ET.

Bill Connelly’s S&P+ ratings

SB Nation’s favored college football advanced stat, which tends to perform well against the Vegas spread, along with offering much deeper evaluations of teams. Usually releases Sunday afternoon.

The Massey composite

Every poll and rating smashed into one continually updating ranking, more or less. Yep, there are dozens and dozens of weekly CFB rankings! We’ll update it a couple times throughout Sunday.

The Sagarin ratings

A long-running computer ranking that also includes FCS teams. Usually releases early Sunday.

The USA Today Coaches Poll

Doesn’t matter much, and often is more a poll of PR directors than actual coaches. Releases around noon ET on Sundays.
