Derrick Leblanc is a 6’5 240 pound defensive end from Kissimmee, FL.
The Class of 2023 prospect attends Osceola High School.
The pass-rusher doesn’t yet have a ranking, but he already holds offers from many top-notch programs, including Alabama, Auburn, Miami (FL), Michigan, Nebraska, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M, UCF, USC, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Leblanc received his Florida State offer in late January:

He then visited for FSU’s Junior Day event in March and seemingly had a wonderful time:

Leblanc described the visit as “great” and said he spoke with Mike Norvell and Odell Haggins while on campus, but then expounded: “I really love all of the [coaches]—they make me feel at home.”
He said Norvell “thinks I’m a great person,” and the talented defensive end expects FSU’s new head coach to be involved in his recruitment throughout: “he’s really great.”
When describing his game, Leblanc emphasized his love for rushing the passer and mentioned speed as his best asset.
The pass-rusher plans to visit Tallahassee again when the Dead Period’s over: “oh, yes, FSU’s great,” but grew up a Georgia fan and is anxiously awaiting an offer from Kirby Smart.
