Arsenal vs. Stoke: Lineups

Arsenal's last minute signing Nacho Monreal will make his debut starting a left back for the Gunners. Theoretically that should give their defense an immediate +1 bonus, much like finding some magical armor in a D&D game...forget I said that. Mikel Arteta returns from injury and starts alongside Abou Diaby deep in the midfield.

Tony Pulis has tinkered slightly with his lineup starting Ryan Shotton in the defense and moving Geoff Cameron up in to the midfield. Despite the fact that Cameron has played in the midfield during his MLS days, this lineup reeks of Pulis planning to much things up in an attempt to steal some points. This shouldn't surprise anyone.

Arsenal starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Wojciech Szczęsny; Bacary Sagna, Per Mertesacker, Laurent Koscielny, Nacho Monreal; Abou Diaby, Mikel Arteta; Jack Wilshere, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Theo Walcott; Olivier Giroud.

Stoke City starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Asmir Begović; Ryan Shotton, Ryan Shawcross, Robert Huth, Andy Wilkinson; Steven N'Zonzi, Glenn Whelan; Jonathan Walters, Geoff Cameron, Matthew Etherington; Peter Crouch.
