Roddy White injury: Missed Wednesday practice, fantasy value should be limited

Though he is likely to start, the Falcons have nothing to play for. We break down the fantasy implications.

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White (knee) was held out of practice on Wednesday. White has had limited practices more than several times this season, but has yet to miss a game. The only inclination that the team might have to play Roddy for more than a few series: White is 81 yards shy of breaking his own franchise records for receiving yards in a season, a mark he set back in 2010.

White currently has 87 catches for 1,309 yards and seven touchdowns. His 15 yards per catch is the highest he has posted since 2008. The Falcons take on the Buccaneers in Week 17 and have already locked up homefield advantage throughout the NFC playoffs.

Fantasy Take: If you are in a league where your championship is actually Week 17, what do you have to lose at this point? The Bucs have a terrible pass defense, go for it.
