Fantasy football start/sit, Week 13: Trent Richardson and Donald Brown

The Colts are sputtering on offense, especially on the ground. Should you start either running back?

Frederick Breedon

There aren't many running backs in the past decade that have been quite as terrible as Colts running back Trent Richardson. Fantasy owners took him in the first round in a lot of leagues and he's now popping up on the waiver wire.

The Colts played the Tennessee Titans just two weeks ago and they were fortunate to pull out the road win. A lot of that was due to Donald Brown. The Colts handed him the ball 14 times for 80 yards and two scores to rally from second-quarter 17-6 deficit.

There really has been nothing to show that Richardson will be getting the ball against the Titans. He was horrible last week, rushing for 15 yards on seven carries against the Arizona Cardinals. Meanwhile, Donald Brown was even worse with two carries for one yard.

This game will likely be Andrew Luck's baby and it's a little too murky of a running back situation to start either guy. Brown seems like a better player to own at this point and Richardson owners should have already been looking for better options.
