The Week 13 matchup between the Tennessee Titans and the Indianapolis Colts should feature two solid performances from tight ends. We've got all the fantasy projections for you courtesy of numberFire.
Tight end Delanie Walker has become a hot topic in fantasy circles, largely due to Ryan Fitzpatrick. With Jake Locker out for the season, Fitzpartrick seems a lot more comfortable turning to Walker. Walker is averaging nine targets over the last three weeks. He's scored touchdowns in two of those contests and is a good bet to produce against the Colts.
Another one of Fitzpatrick's favorite targets is Kendall Wright. Wright has become a PPR machine in the last few weeks. He has at least six catches in each of the last three games and he's been targeted 28 times over that stretch. Wright notched his second touchdown of the year last week and could make it two straight games with a score against the Colts.
The Colts have impressive wins over the Seattle Seahawks and the San Francisco 49ers this year. Unfortunately, they're not exactly knocking off the league's elite these days. Andrew Luck has particularly struggled lately. He's thrown just two touchdowns to go with four interceptions in his last two games. He did run for a score against the Titans two weeks ago, so his owners can should a glimmer of hope that he will produce in Week 13.
Over the last two weeks, Luck has connected well with tight end Coby Fleener. Fleener has 12 catches for 162 yards and a touchdown in the last two games. Receivers T.Y. Hilton and Darrius Heyward-Bey just haven't been as good lately. That's forced Luck to look to Fleener as a safety valve. Fantasy owners should look for the tight end to keep a good thing going again in Week 13 given the team's recent inconsistency.
