St. Louis Rams running back Zac Stacy has been cleared to play for Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers. Stacy is officially listed as probable on the injury report. He's recovering from a concussion sustained in Week 12, but returned to practice on Thursday.
Stacy was limited in practice on Thursday, but was good to go on Friday. He was cleared on Friday as well, so he's certain to be in action. He'll start, and though he faces a tough matchup against the 49ers, he's definitely a player to keep an eye on. Since usurping Daryl Richardson as the starter, Stacy has been excellent.
This season, Stacy has carried the ball 141 times for 624 yards and four touchdowns.
Fantasy Impact: Stacy has been very effective this season. The 49ers have the No. 12 rushing defense in the league, allowing 104.7 rushing yards per game on average. But that would be plenty of yards for fantasy owners. Stacy has played himself into being a must-start at this point. Start him with confidence.
