Carolina Panthers running back Mike Tolbert (knee) is listed as probable and will play in the team's Week 13 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tolbert missed most of practice this week, but is not expected to miss Sunday's game.
Fantasy Impact: Tolbert will play in Week 13 but won't be 100 percent healthy, dealing with the knee injury that forced him to miss significant practice time. Tolbert has provided his usual touchdown vulture presence this season, as he quietly has six scores on the year, two through the air. Tolbert hasn't rushed for more than 36 yards in a game thus far and provides minimal PPR value. Owners not in touchdown-heavy leagues don't have much use for him.
Tolbert will take on Tampa Bay's underrated run defense. With DeAngelo Williams continuing to play well and Jonathan Stewart back in the mix, owners can't expect much more than five carries for Tolbert. If he doesn't find the endzone, he won't have much impact. Tolbert can't be recommended as more than a low-end flex play in Week 13.
