Moreno carried the ball 37 times in an overtime slugfest against the New England Patriots on Sunday, but sustained a bone bruise. It was Moreno's career high in carries, eclipsing the mark of 27 he set just a week prior, and also the most a running back has carried the ball in a single game this season. Despite that, Moreno was able to get practices in on Thursday and Friday, and will be good to go versus the Chiefs.
Fantasy Spin: As long as Moreno is on the field, he is a must-start in leagues of all formats after posting 10 touchdowns in 11 games this season. Despite that, a dose of Montee Ball may be in order down the stretch in order to keep their feature-back fresh for a stretch run and beyond, though Ball is only a start this week in deep leagues and touchdown-only formats.
Though the Chiefs defense has built a reputation this season on being a formidable one, they have quietly allowed 4.6 yards per carry and 116 yards on the ground per game this season. Moreno's high-scoring offense always presents a good matchup for him each week, but against a defense that has been susceptible to giving up yards on the ground, fantasy owners can cement Moreno into their lineups. He is an RB2 with RB1 upside.
