Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery caught five passes for 84 yards and a touchdowns on Monday Night Football in Week 14 in the win over the Dallas Cowboys. Jeffery's touchdown catch in the end zone for a touchdown was all world. Going into this game, Jeffery had caught 70 passes for 1,109 yards and five touchdowns. He is averaging 92.4 yards per game. While he is behind Brandon Marshall in targets, he can easily be considered a number one wide receiver and a matchup nightmare for defenses.
Fantasy impact: Jeffery has made the leap and his status as a must start will remain secure through the playoffs. Granted the Cowboys are giving up the 12th most fantasy points to wide receivers but Jeffery is going to abuse good defenses. The Bears will face the Cleveland Browns in Week 15. The Browns are giving up the tenth least fantasy points to wide receivers.
