Fantasy football rankings, Week 15: Running backs for PPR and standard leagues

New, comments

There are some injuries heading into Week 15. Here's an early look at how fantasy owners should view the options at running back.

Well, we're in the fantasy semifinals for most leagues. Here are some of the notable injuries you'll need to track before Sunday.

Maurice Jones-Drew - There's a good chance he could sit out on Sunday, so Jordan Todman is a nice option in most leagues.

Jonathan Stewart - He's out for the year with an MCL tear. DeAngelo Williams will see the lion's share of the carries.

Adrian Peterson - He is out of a walking boot already and is staring at a game-time decision. If he's playing, you're obviously going to put him in your lineup. Toby Gerhart is ranked based on the assumption AD is out.

Willis McGahee - There's a good chance the aging back will sit, so Chris Ogbonnaya is a decent option, especially in PPR.

Reggie Bush - It sounds like he could play, but the Monday Night Football game isn't going to make it easy for fantasy owners. If you have Joique Bell or even Bernard Pierce, it might make it easier to put him in your lineup. Marlon Brown or even Nate Burleson could be options for owners that could put him in their flex spot.

Eddie Lacy - He could practice on Friday and would be a must-start player against the Dallas Cowboys.

Rashad Jennings - He was cleared for Sunday, but it won't be a picnic against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Lamar Miller - Another guy that passed his concussion test, but he'll be in a timeshare in Sunday's game vs. the New England Patriots.
