Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 15: Dennis Pitta a solid play

The Ravens tight end didn't suffer any setbacks and will suit up again in Week 15. Can he build on his solid production?

Rob Carr

Baltimore Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta hasn't experienced any setbacks and will start again in the team's Week 15 game against the Detroit Lions. Pitta played his first game of the season last week and wasn't at all limited.

Fantasy Impact: After most assumed that the Ravens would ease Pitta back into action last week, he finished the day with six catches for 48 yards and a touchdown. He didn't appear at all limited and continued to flash the playmaking ability that was on display throughout last season and on their Super Bowl run. Pitta finished last year with seven touchdowns and it didn't take long for the end zone threat to find paydirt in his first game back. He and quarterback Joe Flacco put their chemistry on display right away.

Pitta will take on a Lions defense that doesn't give up many points to tight ends. Fantasy owners in the semi-finals have made it this far without him, so he's not an automatic must-start if they have another producer lying around. Pitta is a mid-range TE1 and would make for a fine flex play if not a starter.
