Harry Douglas chips in with just 37 yards for Falcons, fantasy owners

The Falcons slot receiver was largely a non-factor versus the Redskins on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Harry Douglas was presented with a favorable matchup versus the Washington Redskins on Sunday, but amassed paltry totals despite that.

The Falcons did not get much going on offense as a whole, but they didn't have to. With seven Redskins turnovers, all they had to do was manage the game and it was enough to eke out a 27-26 victory. The team finished with a modest 210 receiving yards, and Douglas accounted for 37 of those on five catches.

Fantasy Spin: Though Douglas' seven targets were tied for a team high, it's becoming evident that as Roddy White will be the most productive wideout on the roster as his health improves. With Douglas falling in the pecking order, there is decreasing value to be had in an offense that has struggled to put up points and move the football with regularity.

With a tough matchup against the San Francisco 49ers ahead in Week 16, Douglas makes for a desperation flex play for owners fortunate enough to be in their championship matchups.
