Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 16: Jordan Todman ready to go for Week 16?

New, comment

Maurice Jones-Drew is still banged up and could miss his second straight game. Should fantasy owners count on Jordan Todman again?

The Jacksonville Jaguars are actually moving the ball these days, and it's made them a somewhat relevant fantasy offense. Although, the loss of Cecil Shorts means all bets are off and they will have to look for other alternatives for offense. What's more, running back Maurice Jones-Drew is also banged up and is expected to miss Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans.

Running back Jordan Todman took over as the featured back on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, carrying the ball 25 times for 109 yards on the ground. He added four catches for 44 yards in the passing game.

The Jaguars take on the Titans in Week 16 in their second matchup this season. The first time around was probably JT's coming-out party on national TV and scoring the second rushing touchdown of his career.

Fantasy impact: The Titans can't stop a nosebleed these days and rank 31st in fantasy points allowed to running backs on the season. The game will be in Jacksonville, so there is a lot to like from Todman. If Maurice Jones-Drew is out, he makes for a nice RB2 in most formats. He should be busy and has a big upside.
