Minnesota Vikings running back Toby Gerhart (hamstring) is listed as probable and is expected to play in the team's Week 16 game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Gerhart was limited in practice on Thursday and Friday.

Fantasy Impact: Gerhart should suit up but his value has taken a major hit with starter Adrian Peterson expected to make his return as well. Gerhart has run well with extremely limited opportunities. He rushed 36 times for 283 yards, good for 7.9 YPC. However, With AP back in the mix, Gerhart would be lucky to see five carries. Through Week 10, Gerhart received exactly one carry in four games and no carries in the other six. He workload increase later in the season as Peterson dealt with injuries. However, the only team he saw more than 10 carries was in Week 14 when Peterson exited the game early.

The Bengals already present a relatively tough test for Peterson. Will Gerhart relegated to his usual back up role, he remains well off the fantasy radar. Owners hoping that Gerhart would see an increased workload need to look elsewhere for a low-end flex option. The same goes for Matt Asiata owners.
