Nate Washington has big fantasy day in Titans' win

The Titans wide receiver topped 100 yards for the first time since Week 4. We break down the fantasy implications.

It seemed like Nate Washington had slid down the Tennessee Titans' wide receiver depth chart for a while this season, with Kendall Wright and Justin Hunter both getting far more looks than him. Washington, though, completed his return to relevance Sunday in the Titans' 20-16 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Washington caught a team-leading six passes (on an also-team-leading eight targets) for 117 yards in the game Sunday. His touchdown, on a 30-yard connection with quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, proved to be the game-winner.

Meanwhile, Wright and Hunter were both held well in check in the game, as was tight end Delanie Walker. Wright and Walker each had four catches -- Walker for 35 yards, Wright for 22 -- while Hunter was held without a catch on only one target.

Fantasy impact: Washington's re-rise (is that a word?) has been gradual, but he's had 80 or more receiving yards three times in his last four games, and his touchdown Sunday was his first since Week 4. He's little more than a super-late flyer pick in Week 17, but he has decent upside.
