St. Louis Rams
The Rams' 2013 season was one that uncovered a lot of the young talent and future potential that the team has going into next year. Running back Zac Stacy had to be the biggest surprise on the team. He's taken the ball and run with it, especially in the second half of the season. Daryl Richardson and Isaiah Pead were ahead of him on the depth chart to start the year, but Stacy has since become the team's go-to guy. He'll face a tough matchup against the Seahawks, however.
Another future superstar in the Rams lineup is wide receiver Tavon Austin. It took Austin a while to get on the map as a fantasy asset, even though he was a relatively high draft pick in many leagues. He's become more of a stable producer over the last six weeks and good be a big time player in 2014.
The Seahawks have had a playoff spot locked up for a couple of weeks now but they still have something to play for in Week 17. A win gets them home-field advantage all the way until the Super Bowl in New York. Russell Wilson admitted recently he needs to play better and he should be in the zone as the Seahawks aim to lock up the NFC on their home turf this week.
Running back Marshawn Lynch will also play a key role against the Rams on Sunday. He can be a steadying influence when Wilson struggles. Lynch hasn't rushed for more than the 71 yards he totaled last week since mid-November. The good news is he finds the end zone often enough to still maintain his fantasy value. He'll be worth starting as a second running back in your lineup against the Rams.
