The Denver Broncos have several excellent wide receivers to choose from, and Eric Decker is usually the third option when selecting between Demaryius Thomas and Wes Welker most weeks, but he was Peyton Manning's first option on Sunday vs the Kansas City Chiefs. Decker caught eight of his 12 targets for 174 yards and 4 touchdowns. He scored on passes of 41, 37, 15 and 1 yard vs Marcus Cooper. He now has 63 receptions for 971 yards and seven touchdowns on the season.
Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery is moving up our rankings this week, especially after his second 200 yard receiving performance vs the Vikings on Sunday. Jeffery caught 12 of his 15 targets for 249 yards and two touchdowns, one of which was an 80 yard touchdown. The second touchdown was an amazing grab over the Viking defender at the goal line. Jeffery now has 70 receptions for 1,109 yards and five touchdowns this season, with five 100+ yard performances. Should he be ranked ahead of teammate Brandon Marshall in Week 14?
I ranked Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon in my top five wide receivers last week, and he put up his second consecutive 200+ yard receiving performance vs. the Jaguars. Gordon caught 10 of his 15 targets for 261 yards and two touchdowns on Sunday, and now has three straight 100+ yard performances. He has caught 64 passes for 1, 249 yards and seven touchdowns, and now ranks second in the NFL in yards receiving and first in yards receiving per game.
Atlanta Falcons WR Roddy White had his best game of the season vs the Buffalo Bills, catching 10 balls for 143 yards and no scores. For the season, he has caught just 30 passes for 352 yards and one touchdown. Quite disappointing from the receiver he has been over the last 4-5 years.
