Maurice Jones-Drew has a decent fantasy outing before leaving with injury

MJD ran well while he was in action on Thursday night, but he left the game early. We break down the fantasy implications.

Maurice Jones-Drew rushed for 103 yards on 14 carries against the Houston Texans on Thursday Night Football in Week 14. He also caught two passes for 20 yards before making an early exit in the fourth quarter.

MJD reportedly suffered a hamstring injury, forcing him to limp off the field and head back to the locker room.

Fantasy impact: This was MJD's first 100-yard rushing game of the season (yes, in Week 14), so it was tough to see him unable to finish the game. The hamstring injury did not look good as he left the game, judging from MJD's reaction as he made his way off.

Despite averaging 3.2 yards per carry coming into Week 14, Jones-Drew has been a consistent fantasy option for owners throughout the year. The Jaguars face another bad run defense against the Bills next week. Hopefully MJD will be able to go when Week 15 rolls around. Be sure to keep a close eye on his status, as this is a crucial point in the season.
