Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 14: Joique Bell is one of the best backups

Joique Bell had some good eatin' on Thanksgiving thanks to a blowout. Does the backup running back offer enough to start him?

The Detroit Lions put a hurting on the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving. Running back Reggie Bush went completely off with a total of 182 yards from scrimmage, but he wasn't the only one.

Running back Joique Bell carried the ball 19 times for 94 yards on the ground with three catches for 34 yards. That effort helped the Lions to an absurd 241 rushing yards as a team.

Bell's season numbers are pretty good, with 435 rushing yards on a 4.1 per-carry average, 34 catches for 378 yards and six TDs. He's been a bit up and down on the season and only had 15 yards in Week 12.

The Lions get another nice matchup against the up-tempo Philadelphia Eagles. They should get an extra possession or two in a game that might have a lot of quick strikes.

Fantasy impact: It's not going to be easy to play Bell. He did most of his work in garbage time, so he's more of a flex play for a desperate owner. Reggie Bush is the team's second-best playmaker and would likely need an injury or a fumble to cost him significant playing time.
