St. Louis Rams running back Zac Stacy has sparked the running game in his rookie season. The Rams named him the full-time starter in Week 5 after a failed rotation between he and Daryl Richardson. He has been excellent, grinding out 696 rushing yards on 160 carries and scoring five total touchdowns.
Stacy entered Week 13 having scored a touchdown in three straight games, but the San Francisco 49ers ended that streak in a blowout win. He still produced for fantasy owners, recording 71 total yards on 20 touches. The 5-7 Rams now travel to Arizona to take on the Cardinals.
Fantasy impact: Stacy will have two tough matchups in a row against strong defenses, but he continues to be a workhorse with Kellen Clemens under center. Fantasy owners can count on him as a RB2 for the fantasy playoffs. After Arizona, Stacy faces the Saints, Buccaneers and Seahawks to close out the season. He's one of the few bright spots in St. Louis' offense.
