Delanie Walker out for fantasy owners in Week 14

The Titans starting tight end continues to deal with concussion issues. We break down the fantasy implications.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Delanie Walker did not practice this week, and as he continues to deal with a concussion he suffered against the Colts, he will be forced to miss Week 14's matchup with the Denver Broncos, according to Paul Kuharsky of ESPN.

Head coach Mike Munchak said he was encourage by the off-field work Walker did on Thursday, but after the tight end missed Friday's practice, the chances of him playing seemed slim.

Fantasy impact: Owners should have had a backup plan in mind already. If you're caught off-guard by this news, you haven't been checking updates on Walker's status lately.

The Titans don't have a backup tight end worth starting in fantasy, so look elsewhere for an option to replace Walker in Week 14. Jared Cook has a great matchup with the Arizona Cardinals. Owners have bailed on him as he's failed to produce this season, and you can capitalize on his availability now.
