Josh Gordon lights up the Patriots and the faces of fantasy owners

The Browns wide receiver was a superstar in Week 14. We break down the fantasy implications.

Stew Milne-USA TODAY Sports

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon caught seven passes for 151 yards and a touchdown in a 27-26 loss to the New England Patriots in Week 14. Gordon was targeted 10 times in the matchup.

Fantasy impact: No matter who's been at quarterback this year, Gordon has produced. Sunday's performance against the Patriots was all the more impressive considering he was blanketed by cornerback Aqib Talib throughout the game.

He's proven he can break away from the pack and make big plays down the field. He can catch 50/50 passes and he's quickly become one of the best receivers in the game.

Right now, Gordon is as much of a guarantee to produce for his fantasy owners as just about any other receiver in the game.

With the Browns simply evaluating talent for next year and the porous Chicago Bears defense next on the schedule, fantasy owners would be crazy not to start Gordon in Week 15.
