Buffalo Bills quarterback Kyle Orton has been able to put a few solid fantasy efforts together. In the three weeks since he took over for E.J. Manuel, Orton has averaging 28.3 completions, 296.7 yards, 1.7 touchdowns and one interception per game. On the other hand, he's also lost a fumble in two of his three games. While Orton's efforts aren't going to land him a trip to the Pro Bowl, it's solid production for a guy who was out of the league in Week 4. He's also been developing some good chemistry with first-round pick wide receiver Sammy Watkins.
Fantasy Impact: Orton still has a long way to go before he can make himself a starting option about whom owners feel confident. However, owners could do worse than Orton for a back up/bye week filler. If there was ever a week to start him, this is the week to do so. The Bills will be without their two starting running backs in C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson. Making matters more interesting, the New York Jets have given up the most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. Orton is a mid-range QB2 for this week.
