New York Jets wide receiver Eric Decker (hamstring) participated in a limited practice on Wednesday and is hopeful he'll get to play against his former team the Denver Broncos in Week 6, according to Seth Walder of the New York Daily News. Decker hasn't played since catching his second touchdown of the season in Week 4.
Fantasy Impact: With the Broncos being back to firing on all cylinders as they showed last week against the Arizona Cardinals, the game against the Jets in Week 6 could be a blowout. By extension it could mean a huge fantasy day for Decker if he's available and the Jets are playing catchup.
That said, the Jets' struggles at the quarterback position this season have been well documented. Both Geno Smith and Michael Vick looked to be in rough shape against the San Diego Chargers in Week 5. While Smith will likely draw the start this week, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know he can't compete with Peyton Manning.
Fantasy owners should consider Decker questionable right now and monitor his progress as the week goes along.
