Fantasy football waiver wire, Week 11: Fred Jackson lightly used in injury return

The Buffalo running back wasn't quite healthy yet Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Back from a groin injury, Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson was only marginally involved in the team's offense Sunday. Jackson was clearly held in reserve in Buffalo's 17-13 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Jackson had only 10 rushing yards on three carries. He did add 39 receiving yards on four catches, but overall, the Bills leaned on running backs Anthony Dixon and Bryce Brown, giving Jackson more time to heal. The Bills play Thursday night on a short week, so Jackson's health could continue to be a question mark.

Fantasy impact: It looked like Jackson was active as little more than a formality Sunday, as he didn't look close to his normal self, and the team looked like it didn't want to push him. At full strength, with C.J. Spiller out for most of the rest of the year, Jackson would be a must-start running back, but with his injury still dogging him, it might be wise to hold off on reinserting Jackson into fantasy lineups until after that Thursday short-week game.
