It's time to start taking Oakland Raiders tight end Mychal Rivera seriously. Proving that the past few weeks were no fluke, Rivera finished with six receptions for 64 yards and a touchdown. Rivera's touchdown was an 18-yard play with less than a minute left in the game. in other words, Rivera salvaged his day with a garbage-time touchdown. Regardless, Rivera now has 185 yards and three touchdowns through three games. He's proving to be a security blanket for rookie quarterback Derek Carr on a weekly basis.

Fantasy impact: Rivera is quiet possibly the best tight end on your waiver wire right now. Owned in less than 40 percent of leagues (a number that will surely rise heading into Week 11), Rivera should be scooped up as a low-end TE1 in standard scoring formats. Rivera has even more value in PPR formats. He has 21 receptions through three weeks. He'll face the San Diego Chargers in Week 11. The Chargers are touted as stingy toward opposing tight ends, but they haven't faced many top tight ends this season.
