Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has had an incredible fantasy season, with only a couple of light games in the first three weeks keeping him from being at the top of the fantasy quarterback rankings. His strong performances peaked Sunday with a record-setting first half as the Packers beat the Bears 55-14.
Rodgers threw for 315 yards on 18-of-27 passing, with six touchdown passes -- two to Jordy Nelson and one each to Randall Cobb, Eddie Lacy, Andrew Quarless and Brandon Bostick. All that production came in the first half for Rodgers, as he completed no passes in the second half before the team gave him the rest of the night off. Still, even in that half of action, Rodgers put up 36 fantasy points.
Fantasy impact: The top three fantasy quarterbacks for the rest of the season are, in some order, Peyton Manning, Andrew Luck and Rodgers. There is a clear gap between those three and the rest of the league's quarterbacks. With games the next two weeks against Philadelphia and Minnesota, Rodgers' great performances should keep going.
