Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall says that his injuries won't force him to miss any time, according to Dan Wiederer of the Chicago Tribune. Marshall sustained an ankle injury against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, leaving the game late in the fourth quarter. The game was essentially over at that stage, however, as the Packers eventually won, 55-14.
In other words, it seems likely that Marshall would have been able to stick around and play if it were a close game. He probably should have been sitting well before that fourth quarter regardless of injury. Marshall has had a productive season thus far, with 42 receptions for 496 yards and six touchdowns. He had a big game against the Packers, catching eight passes for 112 yards and a touchdown before leaving the game.
Fantasy Impact: It sounds like fantasy owners have nothing to worry about in this situation. It's unclear if Marshall will even find himself on the injury report this week. Obviously, fantasy owners should keep an eye out when practice gets underway on Wednesday, but for now, it's looking like he's fine.
