Giovani Bernard misses practice; Jeremy Hill could have big fantasy day

Giovani Bernard did not practice on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Cincinnati Bengals running back Giovani Bernard did not practice on Wednesday. He has missed the last two games due to a hip injury and could miss Week 11 agains the New Orleans Saints.

The Bengals are coming off one of the ugliest games of the season, suffering a 24-3 loss to the Cleveland Browns. Backup Jeremy Hill will look to bounce back from a quiet game for just 55 rushing yards, which shouldn't be too hard.

Hill was fantastic in Week 9 against the Jacksonville Jaguars with 154 rushing yards and two scores. He's holdling a 4.7 yards per carry average to go with his 15 receptions, so he should be featured this week assuming Bernard sits again.

All that said, Bernard might be back at practice later this week, so Hill is not locked in as the starter just yet.

Fantasy impact: Hill is obviously owned everywhere and he'd be a must-start against the so-so run D of the Saints. Bernard owners will want to check back for an update on Friday.
