Fantasy football waiver wire, Week 11: Bryce Brown outplays Anthony Dixon

The Bills backfield didn't feature Fred Jackson on Thursday night, leaving Bryce Brown to rack up the receiving yards. We break down the fantasy implications.

With Fred Jackson inactive for Week 11, the Buffalo Bills rotated Bryce Brown and Anthony Dixon out of the backfield throughout Thursday night's game against the Miami Dolphins. Brown finished with seven receptions for 57 yards while Dixon led the team in rushing with 35 yards on 10 carries.

Brown got the start with Jackson out, and this week's script was almost identical to Week 10. Brown only rushed for 14 yards on six carries on Thursday, but he provided plenty of value in the Bills offense with his receiving skills. He led the team with 10 targets. Dixon caught two passes for 13 yards

Fantasy impact: Brown is still available in a large amount of leagues. He's worth adding in PPR leagues, as he's posted back-to-back games with double-digit fantasy points. Jackson's return will likely cut back on Brown's workload, but he still caught six passes with Jackson playing last week.

Dixon holds little value and can be dropped at this point. The Bills offense looked awful on Thursday. Without any threat of a passing game, the run game isn't going to be able to do much. Buffalo faces Denver and Green Bay in Weeks 14 and 15. Those opponents should easily take sizable leads early, leaving the Bills to throw often. That at least helps Brown's future value.
