The leading receiver for Washington on Sunday was running back Roy Helu Jr., with 57 yards. The No. 2 receiver was running back Alfred Morris, who had 36 yards. Basically, the team's wide receivers and tight ends didn't do much of anything Sunday, as the team lost 27-7 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Wide receiver DeSean Jackson caught four passes Sunday for 35 yards. Pierre Garcon had one catch for 6 yards. Andre Roberts had two for 21 yards. And tight end Jordan Reed caught two passes for 22 yards. Jackson had been productive of late before Sunday's struggles, but Garcon and Reed haven't done anything special in a while.
Fantasy impact: Jackson isn't going anywhere. He's had 13-plus fantasy points five different times this season, including two in a row before Sunday's struggles. Garcon and Reed, though, are different stories -- Garcon now has five total fantasy points in his last three games, while Reed has seven in the same time frame.
Considering the struggles of the tight end position, Reed still needs to be owned in most leagues, though you want to at least try to have a better starting option. Meanwhile, the wide receiver position is much deeper. Garcon still has enough upside that you probably want to own him, but he can be dropped in the right situation. And Roberts just hasn't done anything all year.
