Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 9: Chris Ivory

Chris Ivory has been one of the few reliable fantasy options in the Jets' offense.

The New York Jets offense has been a dysfunctional mess this season, but running back Chris Ivory has been one of the few bright spots. Ivory continued his hot streak against the Buffalo Bills in Week 8, rushing for two touchdowns and 43 yards on 13 carries.

Ivory didn't see too much second-half action when the Jets once again fell behind early and had to abandon the run, but he's now scored three touchdowns in the last two games. The Jets seem to have abandoned the backfield committee with Chris Johnson, who had only five touches last week.

Fantasy impact: Ivory is the clear back to own in New York, but his upside is capped with the quarterback situation a mess. Michael Vick is getting the start over Geno Smith against the Kansas City Chiefs, making the entire offense a hands-off situation in fantasy. Ivory is still worth owning in 12-team leagues and carries RB2 value in better matchups, but this might be the week to leave him on the bench.
