Fantasy start/sit advice, Week 9: Michael Vick not worth the start

Michael Vick is expected to get his first start of the season. Can he make a difference in Week 9?

New York Jets quarterback Michael Vick is expected to make his first start of the season. The Jets benched ineffective starter Geno Smith last week against the Buffalo Bills in favor of the 12-year veteran. The results left much to be desired. Vick finished the game completing 18 of his 36 pass attempts for 152 yards with no touchdowns and an interception. He was also sacked four times and lost two fumbles. Vick did manage to lead the team to 17 points in the first half but didn't find much success after that.

Fantasy Impact: Owners looking for a Week 9 quarterback streamer would be wise to steer clear of Vick. He accounted for three turnovers which has been a well-documented issue throughout his career. Vick looks like he still has some juice left in his legs but it won't be enough to warrant starting consideration. The Kansas City Chiefs allow the third fewest points to opposing quarterbacks. Vick would be a desperation start.
