Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 12: Josh McCown

Josh McCown is suddenly on fire and he gets a revenge game. Should fantasy owners start him this week?

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Josh McCown has a nice little revenge game on his hands. He broke out with the Chicago Bears while Jay Cutler was hurt, but the team sent him back to the bench.

The Bears are really struggling as a defense and are the third-easiest matchup on the season. They had success against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 11, but they gave up a ridiculous 11 touchdowns in their previous two games.

When any quarterback goes to Chicago, there is always the question of the weather. The stats have shown that snow games won't affect production on offense, but the wind certainly does. Well, there are only supposed to be winds of 14 miles per hour to go with the rain. That means the weather isn't a big factor here.

Fantasy impact: McCown is coming in hot enough to be viewed as a solid QB1. If you hate your usual starter's matchup this week, he makes a lot of sense. Of course, there is some risk because he is Josh McCown after all.
