Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 12: Tre Mason

Tre Mason has a nice schedule ahead of him. Does he get it going for his fantasy owners on Sunday?

There are rookies popping up all over the place in the fantasy world these days and one of them is St. Louis Rams running back Tre Mason. He hasn't quite hit his stride yet, but it's pretty clear he's the featured back right now.

The production was really there before last week, but he had three awful matchups against the Kansas City Chiefs, San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals -- all are in the top five for toughest matchups for fantasy running backs. Last week, Mason took on a top-10 defense in the Denver Broncos and rushed for 113 yards on a whopping 29 carries. He didn't fumble and didn't have any glaring negatives either. Mason should see another heavy workload this week against the San Diego Chargers.

The Chargers are the 14th-easiest matchup on the season and have been trending down since a very hot start. Mason should be great this week.

Fantasy impact: Tre La Soul's fantasy owners should be keepin' the faith this week. He's a strong RB2.
