Cowboys-Giants fantasy projections: Tony Romo, DeMarco Murray, Odell Beckham Jr. should all perform well

The Week 12 matchup between Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants features two old-time division foes going at it in the Big Apple. We've got the fantasy projections for you courtesy of numberFire.

Dallas Cowboys

Quarterback Tony Romo toughed it out in London two weeks ago against the Jacksonville Jaguars despite having an injured back and didn't miss a beat. He threw for 246 yards and three touchdowns in the game and managed not to turn the ball over. Although the contest was against a subpar Jaguars team, no one can deny that it was a gutsy effort and speaks to just how important it is to Romo for the team's success to continue. Luckily for Romo, he got the benefit of a bye last week and he will now face the Giants team that has had a poor season overall, which could mean a great fantasy day for the former Pro Bowler.

Of course of Romo has any trouble at all getting the ball to his receivers, he has the added benefit of being able to hand the ball off to running back DeMarco Murray. After being held to fewer than 100 yards rushing against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 9 for the first time all season, Murray ran for exactly 100 yards against the Jaguars last week. It was inevitable that his production was slowed down a little bit as the season wore on, what he's done this year is nothing short of spectacular. Murray will likely have a great day against the Giants, who give up more fantasy points to running backs than any other team in the NFL.

New York Giants

Running back Rashad Jennings finally found himself back in the lineup for the Giants last week after missing the previous four games with a sprained MCL. Although he only ran for 59 yards in the contest, it came against the San Francisco 49ers and he did carry the ball 18 times, which is always an encouraging sign for a rusher when he's just coming off an injury like that. Jennings will no doubt be looking to step his game up knowing that DeMarco Murray is his counterpart on the other side of the sidelines. He should be able to get his share against the Cowboys in Week 12.

In the passing game the production will come from rookie Odell Beckham Jr., who is already producing as if he is a seasoned veteran even though he missed the start of the season due to injury. Beckham is averaging more than a 120 yards receiving in the last three weeks and it seems like he can catch any ball thrown to him. He's got sure hands and athletic ability, something that the Giants' receiving game has lacked the entire season, especially since Victor Cruz went down with a torn patella tendon. Beckham should without a doubt be in fantasy lineups this week.
