San Diego Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen hasn't been able to build on his successful rookie campaign. Through ten games, Allen has hauled in 55 receptions for 537 yards and one touchdown. While he is on pace to improve on his 77 receptions of last year, he's taken a step back in every other major stat category. Allen has only caught one touchdown thus far after finding the end zone eight times last year, he's only gone over 100 yards receiving once compared to five times last season and he's averaging a whole 5 YPC less. Owners who were expecting him to take his game to the next level this year have been thoroughly disappointed.
Fantasy Impact: Allen has an extremely favorable matchup this week in the St. Louis Rams and their secondary, which gives up the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. Allen remains a risky WR3 play in PPR formats but just a low-end flex play in standard leagues.
