The Miami Dolphins will need all of their playmakers as they face Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos. Fortunately for the Dolphins, it looks as though Lamar Miller will secure their backfield Sunday. Miller was heading into the week with a shoulder injury followed by an unexpected knee issue on the team's injury report. He was able to put in a limited practice on both Thursday and Friday. Whatever the severity of his knee injury, it doesn't appear to be enough to keep him off the field.
Fantasy impact: Miller's likely presence is good news for fantasy owners. However, he'll have an uphill battle as the Dolphins may fall behind on the scoreboard against Denver's high-octane offense. Hopefully Miller will get more involved in the passing game, if needed. He hasn't seen more than 22 receiving yards since Week 7. Fantasy owners may be relying on a touchdown from Miller to keep afloat. He'll be a low-end RB2 in all formats.
