Roddy White misses practice on Wednesday, still expected in fantasy lineups

The Falcons receiver is having trouble with his ankle. We break down the fantasy implications.

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday, according to ESPN's Vaughn McClure. White caught nine passes for 96 yards against the Cleveland Browns in Week 12.

Fantasy Impact: White has had a history of ankle problems in the past, so although he's listed on the team's injury report it doesn't appear that he is in danger of missing Atlanta's game against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. However, he was not on the team's injury report last week at all, so as far as this most current element is concerned, fantasy owners should consider it new.

Although White's days as a premier No. 1 pass catcher seem to be over, he does have 23 catches for 243 receiving yards over the last three weeks. That represents his best stretch of fantasy production this season. He also has 22 targets in the last two weeks.

The Cardinals do have solid cornerbacks, so Atlanta's Week 13 matchup isn't exactly ideal. That said, fantasy owners should still start White while he's playing well.
