Charles Clay limited in practice, not expected to miss time hurt for fantasy owners

The Dolphins tight end missed some reps but still participated in practice on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Miami Dolphins tight end Charles Clay (knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice, according to the team's official website. Clay is not in any danger of missing the team's Week 10 game against the Detroit Lions.

Fantasy Impact: After a slow start to the season, Clay has come on in the last couple of weeks. He played arguably his best game of the season against the San Diego Chargers last season, catching five passes for 65 yards and a touchdown.

In Week 10, he's up against a solid Lions defense that is pretty darn good. The good news is that the Lions only rank in the middle of the pack against fantasy tight ends, so Clay could be in for another solid day in The Motor City.

Fantasy owners can go ahead and start Clay this Sunday, though it remains to be seen if he can string together multiple big weeks in a row, something he hasn't done yet this year.
