Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 10: Isaiah Crowell

Crowell has fallen out of favor with the Browns. Is there any reason to start him this week?

Phil Sears-USA TODAY Sports

Cleveland Browns running back Isaiah Crowell has been a buzz-worthy player throughout the season. He started out fast in the preseason and he had three touchdowns in the first three games of the season. Crowell has three games with at least 11 carries on the year and was hanging around 5.0 yards per carry to start off his rookie campaign.

However, the last two weeks have turned around in a bad way. Crowell did not play last week and he only had one carry in Week 8. Coach Mike Pettine said his tailback was not benched for disciplinary reasons. A week ago, Pettine brought up the ball security issues of his underrated rookie, so that probably explains it.

This week, the Browns play the Cincinnati Bengals on the road. While they have a horrible run defense, it's pretty obvious that Crowell might not be part of the plan.

Fantasy impact: With the team gaining confidence in Terrence West, it's hard to even own Crowell right now let alone start him.
