The Buffalo Bills are optimistic their stud wide receiver Sammy Watkins will play Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, reported NFL Network's Albert Breer. CBS Sports Jason La Canfora immediately followed that up by reporting Watkins will play barring an unexpected setback during warmups.

Watkins had been hobbled by a recent groin injury that sporadically flared during practice earlier this week. If this injury remains a thing of the past following warmups, continue starting Watkins with confidence in all leagues.

Fantasy Impact: This is great news for fantasy owners considering Watkins has been a true WR1 with Orton under center. Though the Chiefs defense is currently ranked No. 1 against opposing passers, Watkins has proven to be stellar despite the matchup at hand. Look for Watkins to continue that type of production Sunday. If he does fail to start, however, consider Robert Woods a sneaky WR2 play in PPR formats.
