Fantasy football start/sit, Week 5: Doug Martin has good matchup

Doug Martin's big preseason is a distant memory. We break down the fantasy implications.

There was a lot of talk of Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Doug Martin bouncing back from an awful 2014 season. His preseason numbers were fantastic, but it wasn't happening up until last week.

Well, last week happened and Martin ran the ball 20 times for 106 yards and one score to go with five catches for 37 yards. That was good for the No. 3 back in PPR despite going against a solid Carolina Panthers defense. This week, he gets a much better matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Jaguars have really only gone up against one good offense, the New England Patriots. The Pats destroyed them on the ground with four scores and 125 yards on 32 carries. The Bucs should be able to put up some nice numbers on the ground and they are at home this week, too.

Fantasy impact: After that slow start, it's time to have some confidence in Martin again. He's a high-end RB2 with a very nice upside.
