Justin Forsett injury update: Ravens RB expected to be ready for fantasy owners in Week 6

Baltimore's starting running back should be in action in Week 6. We break down the fantasy implications.

Editor's update: Forsett is ACTIVE

Baltimore Ravens running back Justin Forsett looks like he'll be able to play in Week 6 against the San Francisco 49ers. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Forsett will test out his ankle before Sunday's game, but he is expected to play.

Forsett sprained his ankle late in Week 5's matchup with the Cleveland Browns. He took Wednesday and Thursday off, but his return to practice on Friday provides some hope for his chances to play.

Fantasy impact: It might seem like the Ravens are rushing Forsett back considering the running back said his ankle is still a work-in-progress. Buck Allen is the only other running back ready to go, so Baltimore needs all the help it can get in the backfield.

Forsett is coming off back-to-back 100-yard rushing games. San Francisco ranks toward the bottom half of the league in rush defense. If Forsett is officially active, fantasy owners should have him in their lineups as a RB2/flex.
